Featured Solution Integration Services

Data Loss Prevention
Many technologies have been termed Data Loss or Data Leak Prevention (DLP) solutions, which has caused some confusion in the market. While many technologies provide some features and functions that will mitigate the risk of data leak, very few encompass the advanced and comprehensive capabilities of the leading DLP solutions. These capabilities include Exact Data Matching for structured data, Index Data Matching for unstructured data and built in prevention capabilities that enable data security policy enforcement. Spyders’ professional services engineers are Master Certified Symantec DLP Specialists ready to enable your DLP program today.

Next Generation Firewall IDS/IPS
Using separate firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention appliances results in higher operational costs and no increase in security over an optimized combined platform such as that of a Next Generation Firewall (NGFW). The stateful protocol filtering and limited application awareness offered by most outdated first-generation firewalls are not effective in dealing with current and emerging threats/vulnerabilities. Next Generation Firewalls that can detect application-specific (P2P, VoIP) attacks and enforce application-specific granular security policy are emerging, this is for both inbound and outbound traffic. If your organization has not yet deployed network intrusion prevention, explore the capabilities of NGFWs.

Security Information & Event Management
SIEM technology can be a very powerful tool that aggregates disparate syslog files, correlates data to identify and alert administrators on events / security incidents in an organization’s network infrastructure. In many cases organizations have made investments in SIEM technology, but have not fully leveraged the technology or taken advantage of the features and functions that can be used to lower costs, meet compliance requirements, enhance security and provide critical information to improve operational processes. What are you not doing with your SIEM solution?

Wireless Networking
Current-generation Wireless LANs are significantly constrained in performance, scalability and mobility by their dependence on a centralized architecture. Spyders’ solution breaks those barriers down by employing technology that supports a distributed architecture, that enables seamless enterprise-wide roaming, maximizes performance and minimizes latency for data, voice and other mission-critical mobility applications. As wireless networks became more pervasive, the industry quickly recognized that stand-alone or “fat” access points (APs) would be a management nightmare on a large scale and a burden for any IT department. Spyders responded to this issue with a forward looking, scalable architecture comprised of a centralized WLAN controller and “thin” APs. Coupled with our Managed Service offering, it is no wonder enterprise customers are looking to Spyders for their wireless networking needs.

Wireless Device Authentication
Spyders’ wireless device authentication solution will enable clients to address challenges in certificate distribution and management through a single appliance. RADCat-1000 is an innovative appliance that presents clients with a simple digital certificate management solution for all devices in their environment. Clients benefit by having highest encryption grade for the highest level of wireless security to authenticate all devices in your environment through digital authentication of each device, easy management and distribution of certificates and visibility to all activity in your environment including PDAs, Blackberries, retail scanning guns and POS terminals. The solution also enables to easily invoke and revoke privileges and prevent fraud and security breaches. RADCat-1000 deploys in a matter of hours!

Network Access Control
Your network today must provide access to more diverse users than ever (e.g., guests, contractors and mobile employees). These users may use a variety of devices such as laptops, PDA’s, etc. Users can become unknowingly infected and bring those infected devices directly into your network. Or they could just be accessing the Internet from within your LAN without proper security, opening your network to a host of threats. To overcome this challenge, organizations can deploy Network Access Control or NAC solutions.

NAC technologies seek to combine two different concepts – end user identity and endpoint integrity. Some only use part of this combination, such as authentication and combine it with traffic examination to create something that resembles a check of endpoint security state, but it really isn’t. Others rely solely on endpoint security state without any ability to combine it with network-based traffic processing capabilities for access control. A true solution must, at a minimum, have the means to combine user identity, device integrity, and location information with policy, resulting in comprehensive access control.

Spyders provides NAC solutions that are vendor neutral. We provide NAC solutions that interoperate with any vendor's 802.1X-enabled switches/access points to enable security for all of your users and your organization.
